CAREY PARK, Trelawny — Former champions Harmony FC moved to within two points of securing a berth in the semi-finals of the Trelawny Football Association’s National Rums of Jamaica Major League on Saturday after blanking Upsetters 2-0 in their return round game played at Carey Park.

After beating Upsetters 4-2 in the first round, Saturday’s win — Holland’s 12th of the campaign — took them to 40 points, extending their lead to seven over Clarks Town who slid into second place with a win after Holland was upset by Palmento.

Despite dominating the contest, Harmony had to wait until the second d half to get their goals with Richardo Reid netting in the 46th minute and Enos Wallace in the 75th.

Clarks Town were awarded full points after last-placed Sherwood failed to show for their game at Hyde and that was enough to take them to 33 points, one more than Holland who went down 0-1 to mid-tables Palmento.

Kenton Drake’s first-half goal helped Palmento avenge a first round 1-0 loss to Holland.
