Mel Gibson in court battle with former lover to see his baby daughter

People Post

His former girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, has taken out a restraining order against him. Her lawyers took legal action to prevent the Braveheart star from having any contact with her and their seven-month-old daughter Lucia. It is claimed that Gibson, 54, has counter-filed legal papers to get the order modified so he can have access to his daughter, according to the US celebrity website TMZ.

It is also claimed he took out a temporary restraining order against Grigorieva, 40, to prevent her revealing information about their increasingly bitter split. “In these cases, when somebody cries wolf, the judge is mandated to assume there’s a wolf, until a full hearing can be held,” a source told TMZ. The paperwork filed with the Los Angeles Superior Court has not been made public because it involves a child.

The couple’s relationship ended in April, five months after Lucia’s birth. While the split was said to have been “amicable”, the pair are reported to have argued over custody issues. Gibson has remained living in Malibu, California, while Grigorieva is in one of his properties in Los Angeles. Friends in Hollywood said the couple split after reports surfaced of Gibson cheating on her with a Polish porn star called Violet Lowla.

While the actor denied the reports, Oksana is said to have demanded Gibson prove his love for her by getting married when his divorce was finalised. Gibson, a devout Catholic, is said to have refused and friends said he showed “complete indifference” towards his ex. The actor’s relationship with Oksana ended his 30-year marriage to wife Robyn, with whom he has seven children.

Gwyneth Paltrow: I’m suffering from brittle bone disease

With her extreme diets and harsh exercise regimes, Gwyneth Paltrow is nothing if not health conscious.

So it must have come as a shock to be told she is suffering from an ailment more commonly the preserve of elderly women. The 37-year-old actress says she is in the early stages of osteopenia, precursor to the brittle-bone disease osteoporosis. And according to experts, it could have been caused by the very diets she hoped would keep her in prime condition.

The problem was diagnosed in a bone scan after she suffered a leg fracture. In her Internet newsletter Goop, she said: “My doctors tested my vitamin D levels, which turned out to be the lowest thing they had ever seen (not a good thing).” As a result, Paltrow says she has been put on ‘prescription-strength vitamin D’.

Beyoncé goes back to the Eighties with wild curly hair and ripped T-shirt

She’s known for her sleek style and polished image.

But Beyoncé Knowles looked like she had stepped straight out of the 80s as she left a nightclub in New York last Thursday. The tousled singer wore her hair wavy and loose in a bouffant style.

Beyoncé’s cropped, loose T-shirt revealed her toned stomach, while her ripped cut-off jeans were straight out of a vintage Madonna video. The 28-year-old had partied the night away with her husband Jay Z, who drove the couple home in their white 4×4 Jeep.
