Business House 3-on-3 at quarters stage
THE preliminary rounds of the 2010 Business House Basketball Association’s Division 1 and 2 leagues have been completed and action has already started in the Three-On-Three best-of-three quarter-finals at the National Stadium Courts.
In the respective preliminary rounds, the top eight teams have advanced to the quarter-finals.
MegaMart Wholesale Club and G4S teams ended their round of matches with 19 points each from 10 matches in the Division 1 League, while suffering one defeat apiece. Police National were third on 17 points.
Seprod Limited, Sagicor Life Jamaica and Grace Cannings Food Processors were tied on 16 points each, while Lascelles Merchandise and National Water Commission finished with 14 apiece. Eleven companies participated.
Jamaica Teachers’ Association Co-op Credit Union topped the preliminary round of the Division 2 League with 23 points, winning 11 matches and suffering only one defeat from 12 games. Second were Uppercut Barbers with 21 points.
Jointly finishing with 20 points were SPORTSMAX, National Land Agency, Gleaner Company and Urban Development Corporation. CARIMED, who finished with 19 and National Housing Trust with 18 were the other quarter-finalists.
Matches scheduled for Monday in Game Two of the Division 1 League are: Grace Cannings Food vs Police National at 6:00 pm; Sagicor Life Jamaica vs Seprod at 6:45 pm; Lascelles vs G4S at 7:30 pm; National Water Commission vs MegaMart at 8:15 pm.
Action also continues in Game Two of the Division 2 League with Gleaner Company vs National Land Agency at 6:00 pm; Urban Development Corporation vs SPORTSMAX at 6:45 pm; National Housing Trust vs JTA Co-op Credit Union at 7:30 pm and CARIMED VS Uppercut Barbers at 8:15 pm.
