Alleged goat thief chopped to death
Caught by St Catherine mob
THE Old Harbour Police are probing the circumstances surrounding the death of an unidentified man whose body was found with chop wounds in the High House community of St Catherine this morning.
The body is of dark complexion and medium build and is believed to be in the early forties.
Preliminary investigations revealed that about 6:20 am residents saw the man in the community with a bag on his head.
They chased and chopped him several times killing him on the spot. The police who were later called found the body in bushes.
The bag which the man was allegedly carrying was searched and the two goat heads, goat feet and other parts of the goats’ carcasses were found inside the bag.
