A shower scene with Angelina Jolie?
Featuring Angelina Jolie in a naked embrace with Johnny Depp, it was expected to be the steamy highlight of new crime thriller The Tourist.
But it appears that Depp’s long-time girlfriend Vanessa Paradis has won a battle to axe the sexually explicit scene, in which the A-list pair were to writhe together in a shower.
French singer Paradis, 37, who has two children by the actor, was so distressed over the script’s passionate theme that she begged Depp to pull out of the project, according to a Hollywood source.
‘She put pressure on Johnny and finally he said he wanted the shower scene out,’ the source told The Mail on Sunday. ‘He told the producers it cheapened the movie and I am assured that his wishes are being honoured.’
According to a copy of the script leaked to New York celebrity magazine Life & Style, Depp, 47, plays American tourist Frank Taylor who seduces Interpol agent Cara Mason, played by Jolie, 35.
The script says that after walking into the shower, Taylor ‘lifts Cara against the glass, clutching at her slithery body, kissing her frantically’.

Divorcing Christina Aguilera hides male friend under a blanket after double date
She filed for divorce from her husband of five years just last month, but Christina Aguilera has a smile on her face once more. The broad grin came as the singer left Hollywood’s SoHo House on Friday, hiding a male friend under a blanket in her car.
The 29-year-old had enjoyed a double dinner date with the man and her close friend Nicole Richie, who was with her rocker fiancé Joel Madden. The hidden male was named online as Matthew D Rutler, a set assistant from the production of Burlesque, after first being misidentified as Joel’s twin brother Benji.
Rutler has worked on a series of films, and also acts as a guitarist for the Nate Mott Band,
according to his listing on IMDb. He met Christina on the set of her new movie, Burlesque, in which she plays a small-town girl learning the ropes at a burlesque lounge.

‘They told me to lose weight’: Heidi Klum on how she stood up to her critics as a young model
Supermodel Heidi Klum has revealed how as a young model she refused to bow to pressure to lose her famous curves or cut her hair. The 37-year-old German beauty instead stuck to her guns, sensing that her natural figure would win out in the end.
“People were trying to squeeze me into boxes saying, ‘Oh, you’re too happy, maybe we’ll cut your hair really short, maybe you’ll lose some weight to be thinner’, And I was like, no, my hair is the way it is and my body is fine and I would just go with what I believed in,” she told Access Hollywood. Klum, who is married to British singer Seal and a mum-offour, began her career after winning a beauty contest at the age of 18.
Her career began slowly after she moved to the US in her early 20s: “I did a lot of catalogues in the beginning and went to so many castings and tried, tried, tried, for many years,” she said, but her huge success came at her very first Victoria’s Secret runway show that made her career. “Then you get a title and get to be put in the New York Post and it was all happening,” she continued.
