THE town of Junction in St Elizabeth radiated with the bold and unbridled energy infused by Magnum Tonic Wine, at its latest party in the Street Swag series at the popular Heavy’s Bar.

In the hours leading up to midnight, partygoers steadily streamed into the venue with their ‘swagga’ firmly attuned to the theme of the event. The general attire was stylishly sexy and dancehall chic, and for those persons who blazed a fiery hot fashion trail, wearing sunglasses at night was appropriate, if not very necessary.

Selectors Fire Ras and Iceberg of the legendary Stone Love stayed on top of the music and kept the party swinging with classic dancehall hits from the 90s, which pulled many persons to the dance floor

Pretty Boy Floyd, the host of the event, was in his element in his native parish and was the source of laughs and lively interaction with the quickly growing crowd. The gathering needed little encouragement from Floyd to take advantage of the Magnum bucket deals, and the two bar areas readily dispensed the bottles of energy. With the kinetic vibe inside Heavy’s Bar at a high level, the first appearance of four voluptuous Magnum girls sent shockwaves through the roof and out into the cool St Elizabeth night air.

Introduced with great fanfare by the emcee, the alluring Magnum girls turned up the swag factor of the party to full blast and instantly captivated the crowd. They paraded individually at first, displaying sultry moves before combining their talents for an engaging choreographed routine performed to Spice’s song Jim Screechie. Floyd then invited one lucky Magnum drinker to dance with the girls. Although it appeared to be a tall order, the man proved to be equal to the task as he took them on with aplomb to the delight of the cheering crowd.

The Magnum-fuelled fun continued throughout the night with several spot prizes and giveaways before the dancing resumed in earnest. With each passing hour the party vibe grew more and more intense as the street swag levels continued to fly off the charts. The Stone Love selectors seamlessly navigated through different musical genres, serving up the hottest tunes from dancehall heavyweights Mavado, Vybz Kartel, Beenie Man and Bounty Killer, before presenting hip-hop and R&B hits from the likes of Rihanna, Drake, The Black Eyed Peas and Rick Ross.

The free street swag party brought out the best in St. Bess as Magnum continued its drive to reward its loyal customer base. The patrons left the venue thoroughly satisfied with the Magnum experience. Upcoming Magnum Street Swag parties are scheduled for Freshh Friday on December 17 and downtown Kingston on December 24.
