Lost in Jamaica: Scarlett Johansson heads on holiday to escape divorce drama

A day after announcing the end of her two-year marriage to Ryan Reynolds, a tense-looking Scarlett Johansson was spotted in Jamaica on Thursday with a group of friends.

The 26-year-old allegedly initiated the split from Ryan, 34, after the stress of being apart all the time became too much for her to take.

And now it looks as if she is escaping the divorce drama by laying low on the Caribbean island to regroup and and get some support from her pals.

Wearing a white fedora, blue shorts and a grey tank top over a yellow bikini, the actress looked sombre and subdued as she carried a copy of Vanity Fair with Johnny Depp on the cover.

Scarlett and Ryan released a statement on Wednesday saying: ‘After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we’ve decided to end our marriage.

‘We entered our relationship with love and it’s with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn’t expected, it’s certainly appreciated.’

Simon Cowell jets to Barbados with ex Sinitta… but fiancée stays at home

She recently insisted they were still very much an item in the wake of persistent rumours they had split. But in another apparent blow to their relationship, Simon Cowell has jetted off on holiday to Barbados — without his fiancée Mezhgan Hussainy. Instead, the music mogul has brought along ex-girlfriend Sinitta for company, who he is still famously friendly with. Mezhgan, 37, meanwhile, is believed to be staying at the millionaire’s London mansion. She joined Cowell at the weekend for the X Factor finals, with Sinitta, 42, and another one of his exes Terri Seymour, 36, also seen at the show’s London studios. Last month make-up artist Mezhgan spoke out to deny reports they had gone their separate ways. “I still love him and he says he still loves me and we are still engaged — as far as I know,” she said. Meanwhile X Factor supremo Cowell has already deployed his lawyers to warn photographers to give him privacy while lapping up the Caribbean sun. The 51-year-old TV star is also said to have been stung for £100 in duty charges to bring a stack of his favourite beers on holiday.

Reality star Kimora Lee Simmons enjoys a romantic date with her husband

She’s a reality star, mother-of-three, and CEO of a fashion empire, but Kimora Lee Simmons still finds time for romance. The 35-year-old joined her partner, Oscar-nominated actor Djimon Hounsou, for an adults-only lunch at famed Beverly Hills eatery Il Pastaio on Wednesday. The relaxed-looking couple walked arm in arm out of the restaurant and waited patiently for their car in the valet area after lunch. Kimora, who is six-feet-tall, was affectionate with Djimon, her partner of three years, leaning in and giving him kisses as they talked. The couple, who began dating in 2007, never officially married but took part in a traditional African commitment ceremony in the summer of 2008. They have a son together, 18-month-old Kenzo Lee and Kimora also has two daughters from her marriage to Phat Farm and Def Jam creator Russell Simmons. The entrepreneur and former model will be enjoying the time she gets with her beau over the festive period before he heads off on the international promotional tour for his new film The Tempest. Kimora, meanwhile, is busy with Baby Phat and her high-end fashion line KLS, as well as the upcoming new season of her reality show, Kimora: Life in The Fab Lane.

Boys and their bikes: George Clooney joins a friend for lunch and a ride

George Clooney indulged in his other passion on Thursday and dusted off his favourite motorcycle. The actor joined his actor-director friend Grant Heslov for a boys-only lunch at the Chateau Marmont Hotel before heading out for a ride through West Hollywood.

The 49-year-old ER star has been a huge motorcycle fan for years keeping bikes at his home in Los Angeles and villa on Lake Como in Italy. His particular bike is a custom-made Harley Davidson which is worth around US$24,000. George looked relaxed and happy wearing a simple white shirt and jeans combo as the two men cruised down Sunset Boulevard on their matching bikes. George and Grant, 47, have been friends for years and worked on several films together including Leatherheads, Intolerable Cruelty, Men Who Stare At Goats and most recentlyThe American on which both men were producers, while George also took on the male lead role.
