Miller was arrested last week by police in connection with a stolen car. He is still being detained.

Last week Miller’s family members held a press conference in the community, stating that the police were being unfair in targeting him.

Miller’s most recent detention was in October, when he was interrogated by Criminal Investigation Bureau detectives about crimes committed in recent times in the old capital.

Spanish Town has been the scene of multiple murders in recent times as the Klansman and One Order gangs have stepped up an ongoing feud. The gangs have been at loggerheads for over a decade.

The Klansman gang is fiercely loyal to the opposition People’s National Party while the One Order Gang is aligned to the ruling Jamaica Labour Party.

More than 200 persons have been killed in the conflict.
