Alleged thief caught ‘red-handed’
MONTEGO BAY, St James — A man accused of robbing a woman of a variety of currencies and a cellular phone was on Monday ordered remanded in police custody when he appeared before the Montego Bay Resident Magistrate’s Court.
Christopher Wilson pleaded not guilty to robbery with aggravation in the incident that the court heard took place in September last year.
He is alleged to have used a knife to hold up the woman along Harbour Street and robbed her of US$29, J$400, C$1 and 19 Cuban pesos as well as a Samsung phone.
