LASTING LOVE: Elizabeth Taylor and Larry Fortenskymarried in 1991.

Elizabeth Taylor’s ‘goodbye’ love letter to Larry Fortensky

She famously married eight times — twice to Richard Burton, often described as the love of her life. But he was not the only man with a hold on Elizabeth Taylor’s heart. Linda Untiet, the sister of Ms Taylor’s last husband, construction worker Larry Fortensky, recently insisted the Oscarwinning actress loved him “right to the end”. Untiet, who got to know Taylor during her five-year marriage to Mr Fortensky, said: “Elizabeth wrote Larry a love letter at the end of last year. It said how much she still loved him. It was almost a ‘goodbye letter’.”

Mr Fortensky met Ms Taylor, who died last week at 79, when they were both in rehab for drugs and alcohol addiction at California’s Betty Ford Clinic. They married in 1991, when he was 39 and she was 59. “They were friends to the end and Liz loved him right to the end. It ended because he didn’t want to be Mr Elizabeth Taylor anymore,” she added. Mr Fortensky now travels America in a trailer. His sister said: “He doesn’t need to work thanks to Elizabeth. She valued her true friends and Larry was certainly that.”

Just married! – Reese Witherspoon weds Jim Toth in front of family and A-list friends

Reese Witherspoon exchanged vows with talent agent Jim Toth in an intimate ceremony last weekend at her lavish $7-million estate in Ojai, California. The Legally Blonde star, 35, who wore a custom-designed gown by Monique Lhuillier, walked up the aisle to the traditional Bridal Chorus. Toth, 40, had earlier arrived for the traditional service with Witherspoon’s children Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7, while the Tennessee Waltz played. Stars including Renee Zellweger, Matthew McConaughey, Tobey Maguire, Robert Downey, Jr; Alyssa Milano, Isla Fisher, and Salma Hayek were also among the 120 guests.

Witherspoon’s best friend Heather Rosenfield served as matron of honour and her young nieces were flower girls, according to Us Weekly. Her parents John, a surgeon, and Betty, a PhD college professor, flew in from Tennessee while Toth, who is originally from Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, also had family in attendance. It is the first marriage for Toth but the second time up the aisle for Witherspoon, who was married to the father of her children, Ryan Phillippe, 36, for eight years. She also dated Brokeback Mountain star Jake Gyllenhaal. They, however, split in 2009.

Natalie Portman “only did five per cent” of full-body shots in Black Swan, claims dancing double

The ballerina who stepped in for Natalie Portman in Black Swan t o be the double for moves the actress could not do has said the star performed only a minuscule amount of footwork. Sarah Lane, 27, has claimed she is the victim of a “cover-up” and moviegoers have been misled as to how much of the dancing Portman actually performed in the film. “Of the full-body shots, I would say five per cent is Natalie,” the American Ballet Theatre soloist said, adding: “All the other shots are me.”

Lane says she performed many of the incredible dance sequences and Portman’s face was then digitally placed onto the professional dancer’s body.
