St Andrew and St Thomas water problems
NATIONAL Water Commission (NWC) customers in the Stony Hill St Andrew are currently experiencing disruptions in their water supply due to urgent works being carried out on a section of the Seaview Filter Plant.
This disruption will continue until 5:00 pm toady, said the NWC in a statement.
Meantime customers in the St Thomas districts of Bonnett Burn, Golden Valley, Llandwey, Ramble, Goatridge, Mount Sania, Smithfield, Soho, Middleton, Spring Garden, Top Hill and Nutts River are being advised that the disruption to their service is due to faults at the Golden Valley, Nutts River, Llandwey and Soho water supply systems.
The commission said that it is attempting to repair the faults quickly and trucked water will continue to be provided to the affected areas until normal water supply is restored.
