WITH 20 categories ranging from music, to fashion and performances, the 4th annual Paramount Mega Gospel Music Awards is set to unfold on Sunday, April 10.

The event, which is the brainchild of Mega Jamz 98FM presenter, Kevin Lewis, is the only awards show in Jamaica, which soley honours the work and contribution of gospel recording artistes.

Set to air live on Mega Jamz 98FM between the hours of 12:00 noon and 4:00 pm, the event will recognise entertainers in the following categories:

Best Dressed Male Artiste

Best Dressed Female Artiste

Best Collaboration

Most Inspirational Song

Best Female Vocalist

Best Male Vocalist

Gospel Producer of the Year

Mega Artiste of the Year

Most Dedicated Listener

Gospel Video of the Year

Best Group/Duo

Best New Artiste

Deejay of the Year

The Paramount Mega Gospel Awards is sponsored by Paramount Chemicals, Seprod, Juici Patties, MegaMart, McIntosh Bedding Sealy Mattresses, Best Dressed Chicken, Courts, GSB Credit Union, Azan Super Centre, China 1 Restaurant and Dr B-Berry.

The awards will feature special performances by local gospel acts including Jermaine Edwards, Terrence Campbell, Grace Thrillers, ARMS, Kevin Downswell and Omari.
