Three months after copping the keenly contested award for Best New Food Innovation at this year’s Jamaica Observer Food Awards, the expanding franchise Wing King held the official ribbon cutting and grand opening of its new Oaklands Shopping Centre outlet on Constant Spring Road last Thursday.

Wing King owners Christopher Morgan and wife Marsha invited partners Wisynco, Best Dressed Chicken, National Commercial Bank as well as family, customers and friends to the opening, which was hosted by ZJ Bambino. “We’re very pleased with the support that we’ve received since we began this venture,” Christopher Morgan said. “I must thank God who is my first business partner, because if it had not been for Him this would not have been possible, and I thank my wife Marsha who really runs things around here.”

He told the gathering that to date, the business had met his expectations and Wing King was looking to expand even further. ” Look out for more wings,” said Morgan, who is also a pastor. Wing King’s flagship branch is located on the lower level of the Food Court, Sovereign Centre, Liguanea.

Formalities concluded, Morgan invited guests to enjoy wings served with innovative sauces like: Barbecue Ginger, Guava Jerk and Buffalo Wild.
