Another crash reported on Rose Hall main road

ST JAMES, Jamaica — Another motor vehicle crash was reported along the Rose Hall main road on Tuesday, less than 24 hours after a fatal collision on the same stretch of roadway claimed the life of a woman and left several others injured.

The latest incident occurred shortly before 8:00 am. No injuries were reported in connection with the crash.

Reports indicate that the collision took place near the scene of Monday’s deadly accident, which claimed the life of Bianca Wallace, a flag woman employed on a pipe-laying project along the roadway.

The fatal crash on Monday involved three vehicles: a Toyota Hiace operating as a public passenger vehicle, a Toyota Rush and a tractor.

Several people were injured in that incident, including students, one of which reportedly sustained serious injuries to the legs.

The Rose Hall main road has long been regarded as a hotspot for motor vehicle crashes. Authorities continue to urge motorists and pedestrians to exercise caution while travelling along the corridor.
