Richards to continue as St James netball boss

MONTEGO BAY, St James — Eglan Richards will be returned unopposed as president of the St James Netball Association at Saturday’s Annual General Meeting as no one was nominated to oppose him.

Richards took over the running of the netball association in 2010 and the majority of his executive will be returned unopposed as well. Those to keep their posts are Gina Haughton (first vice-president), Deon Stern-Tingling (second vice-president) and Winsome Barnes (Treasurer).

Three other posts, which have been left vacant by migrating executive members, need to be filled.

Voting will be open for a new assistant treasurer, a new secretary and new assistant secretary.
