Leighton Spencer wins 10,000m

Leighton Spencer took 33 minutes 54.60 to finish the men’s 10,000m ahead of Andrew Gutzmore who clocked 35:04.44 at the JAAA/Supreme Ventures National Championships.

Dane Hyatt upstaged the more experienced runners in the group to claim the men’s 400m event in a time of 44.83 seconds ahead of former Garvey Maceo student Rusheen McDonald in 45.10 and Jermaine Gonzales 45.18 seconds.

Saniel Atkinson-Grier cleared 1.89m to win the women’s high jump eclipsing Sheree Ruff who cleared 1.86m while Peaches Roach-Findlay was third with a height of 1.80m.
