United States coach Juergen Kilnsmann has announced a 25-man squad to face Jamaica’s Reggae Boyz in a World Cup qualifying top-of-the-table clash in Kingston’s National Stadium on Friday.

The return game is set for Ohio, USA, four days later.

Kilnsmann, the former Germany captain and 1990 World Cup winner, however did not include the team’s talisman forward/midfielder, LA Galaxy’s Landon Donovan, who is injured.

Also unfit and excluded are Roma midfielder Michael Bradley and Tijuana defender Edgar Castillo.

In the 25-man strong squad there are four goalkeepers, nine defenders, eight midfielders and four forwards.

The USA, ranked 36th by FIFA and Jamaica at 66th, are on top of Group A of the CONCACAF Semi-final play-offs on four points each after a win and a draw against Guatemala and Antigua and Barbuda. The latter two have a point each.

The Americans are due to arrive in the island on Wednesday.
