‘I feel like an old bag!’
Victoria Beckham was feeling the strain ahead of her catwalk show last weekend. The designer worked day and night to get her latest fashion collection ready for New York Fashion Week, but hadn’t lost her sense of humour, tweeting a picture of herself with a bag on her head.
Underneath it she wrote: “After three hours sleep I feel like an old bag! x vb #NYFW”. She had earlier hinted at her late nights to complete her latest collection — which was to debut yesterday — tweeting department store Bergdorf Goodman: “Thank you @bergdorfs #CN £FNO! Its going to be a late night, still in fittings! Good night NY! X vb.”
Earlier in the evening Victoria had been at the store with Vogue editor Anna Wintour, where she helped launch Fashion’s Night Out, wearing one of her own orange dress designs.
Victoria spoke to the New York Times on Friday about why she decided to show her collection in the Big Apple rather than at London Fashion Week. “For me, I lived in America, although I am British-born and my aesthetic is British,” she told the publication. “But I admired US brands, and I wanted to follow the US model. It seemed like the right thing to do.”
As well as working on her fashion designs, Victoria also has four children, Brooklyn, 13, Romeo, 10, Cruz, seven, and 13-month old Harper with her husband David Beckham.

Battle of the barnets!
There might be a 13-year age difference between them, but Miley Cyrus and Pink looked like twins at the MTV Video Music Awards. Miley, 19, and Pink, 32, both opted to wear their peroxide blonde crops gelled into backcombed mohawks as they walked the red carpet at the Los Angeles Staples Center — giving them an almost identical appearance.
The singers also sported similar make-up, keeping their lips pink and nude and concentrating on a smoky eye with fake lashes. Following the event, Miley’s pal Lady Gaga tweeted her: “@mileycyrus u out-dressed+styled everyone last night. If anyone gives you about that haircut pay no mind. U look like Brigitte Nielson.”
While Pink has been rocking her crop for a good few years, Miley’s ‘do is a recent addition to her new grungy look. It remains to be seen whether or not Miley will keep her cropped look for her upcoming wedding to The Hunger Games actor Liam Hemsworth.

Enrique Iglesias ‘offered $4m to join American Idol judging panel’
Enrique Iglesias has been offered a judging role on American Idol.
The Hero singer has reportedly been given the chance to join Mariah Carey — the only person confirmed to appear on the new panel so far — when the 12th series of the show returns next year. He has been offered $4 million to appear on the talent search show, according to Entertainment Weekly.
If Enrique does take the role, he will have been in a good position to pick up tips from ex-judge Jennifer Lopez — who quit this year after two seasons — over the last few months as he has been touring with her. In the fray are said to be rapper Nicki Minaj, Australian country artist Keith Urban and pop singer Adam Lambert. Nicki has been keeping tight-lipped as to whether she would accept a role on the show. She told E! news: “I don’t know yet. I really don’t know. I have no comment on it.”
Weighing in with his opinion, singer-songwriter Ne-Yo said he could see how both Nicki and Enrique would work as judges on the show. He said: “Between Nicki and Enrique I think both of them would do a good job, but Enrique’s been in the game longer so he might have a bit more insight on what these kids need to know. But see, on the other side of that, Nicki has basically gone through what they are about to go through recently, so I don’t know, it’s a toss up.” Katy Perry reportedly turned down $20 million for a one-year contract with the show because she simply wasn’t interested in the job.
