Recently appointed Managing Director of Red Stripe Cedric Blair (left) enjoys the Arthur Guinness Day celebration with Jomo Cato, Head of Marketing for Red Stripe, at the National Indoor Sports Centre on Thursday. Arthur Guinness Day is the global event recognising the life and work of the founder of the top stout brand. Sir Arthur was an entrepreneur, philanthropist and all around lover of people who always gave of himself to help others. As part of a US$3 million global social programme, Guinness said it will be identifying 10 people in Jamaica who have philanthropic qualities like its founder. Guinness and Red Stripe are both owned by alcoholic beverages giant Diageo.
