Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault

Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault takes it back old school with the classic camera, weapons and third-person game play that the series is so well known for. In addition to all your favourite ‘Rachetness’, the newest instalment in the series adds a tower defence element, which has the player build and defend a base against invasions using all the high-powered, hilariously messy weapons in their arsenal. The game which features the ability for co-op play, both on and offline, will also feature five different levels set on three planets, and will allow players to play as Ratchet, both normal and giant Clank and Captain Qwark.

EverQuest: Rain of Fear

EverQuest: Rain of Fear is the 19th expansion pack for the EverQuest role-playing game. In this latest instalment you and your companions have destroyed the newly created god, The Triumvirate, which causes an explosion that rocks Norrath, restoring power to it. It is now up to you to decide who will gain control of the essence of fear and bring back the balance between good and evil. The game features new alternate advancement abilities, a new aggro meter, maximum level increased to 100 and new zones as well as new content such as titles, quests, loot, monsters, and raids.

Miner Wars 2081

Miner Wars 2081 is a first-person action-survival game set in the year 2081, 10 years after the destruction of Earth. The story line follows a population without a home planet struggling to live longterm in space with war breaking out over vital resources such as food, fuel and oxygen. The game features both competitive and co-operative multiplayer game play, allowing players to be able to complete the entire story campaign with multiple online allies.

Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition

Release date: November 28, 2012

Balder’s Gate: Enhanced Edition is a remake of the classic 1998 game Balder’s Gate. This role-playing game, set in the Forgotten Realms continent of Faerun in the Sword Coast and Western Heartlands, includes the entire original Baldur’s Gate adventure, plus the Tales of the Sword Coast expansion pack and new content, including a new adventure. The game also includes three new characters: the Calishite monk Rasaad yn Bashir, Neera the wild mage and Dorn Il-Khan, the evil blackguard. The game is slated to be released on Android OS shortly following it’s November 28, PC release.

Sounds like a fine way to waste away your Christmas holiday.
