In praise of a healthy society
Gospel performer DJ Nicholas is the main act for ‘Concert in the Park’, an event promoted by the Jamaica Coalition for a Healthy Society in commemoration of International Human Rights Day.
The show takes place Monday at Emancipation Park in New Kingston.
DJ Nicholas will be joined by Dunamis; the Mass Choir from Emmanuel Apostolic Church; the Children’s Choir of Hope Gospel Assembly and Praise Academy.
Main speakers will be international human rights lawyer, Susan Yoshihara and Kwabena Peat, a Jamaican who resides in the United Kingdom.
The Jamaica Coalition for a Healthy Society is a Christian non-profit organisation which was formed in January. It encourages Christian principles on marriage, sex and the family, through various activities and projects.
