BULL Bay assumed sole leadership of Zone B of the Hi-Lyte/KSAFA Major League Football Competition after drubbing Meadforest, 6-0, at Bull Pen yesterday.

In other Zone B matches, Maxfield turned back New Kingston, 1-0 in the feature game, while Duhaney Park blanked Swallowfield, 3-0.

In Zone A, Real Mona were also 6-0 winners against Cooreville Gardens, while Brown’s Town and Pembroke Hall drew 1-1. The game between hosts Molynes and Constant Spring was not played.

Bull Bay lead their group with maximum nine points from three starts. They are followed by Maxfield Duhaney Park and New Kingston with six points each. Swallowfield and Meadforest are yet to get off the mark.

New Kingston lost their perfect start from two matches after they went down 1-0 to Maxfield Park on Mario Palmer’s second-half goal at Norman Manley School. Maxfield and Duhaney Park have now climbed the standings to be level on points with New Kingston.

Duhaney Park eased past Swallowfield with three unanswered goals from Hydel’s Manning Cup captain Errol McNeil, Ryan Logan and Orlando Barrett.

Over in Zone A, Real Mona scored a massive win over Cooreville through four goals from Paul Cunningham and one each from Marlon Walker and Jordon Moses.

Constant Spring and Mona now share the lead with six points each, followed by Brown’s Town on four, with Cooreville and Molynes on three apiece.
