World-class event at Sandals hangar
THE IAM Jet Centre in Montego Bay, St James, was converted into a car lover’s paradise at the ATL World Party on Saturday.
With six major brands under its belt, ATL Automotive Ltd took its guests around the globe the minute they stepped through the faux metal detector onto the red carpet leading to the hangar.
For the more thrill-seeking guests, a ride-along with champion race-car driver Douglas Gore at the wheel of an Audi S7 could be had.
On display in and around the venue were all the key 2012 and 2013 models of vehicles. Japan was represented by the Honda brand and Germany via Audi and Volkswagen. The United Kingdom was not to be left out of the ‘global event’ as Jaguar, Land Rover and Range Rover marques were also on show.
After a quick laser light show, Sandals/ATL Group CEO Adam Stewart appeared centre stage.
“I’d like to thank everyone who made this possible,” he said, acknowledging his staff’s efforts in positioning his companies as a major force in the market.
After the CEO’s warm welcome, guests were free to browse each model at their leisure while sales persons and financial institution reps fielded queries on the spot.
An even higher incentive to purchase was available in the form of test drives, as a simple course had been laid out on the runway to provide further insight into the handling, comfort and speed of the various models.
Music power couple Wayne Marshall and Tami Chynn along with dancehall diva Tifa kept the party going late into the night.
