Power supply issues affecting water delivery
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Residents in sections of St Catherine and Kingston are experiencing low water pressure due to power supply problems at a National Water Commission facility.
The affected areas are: Kent Village, Spanish Town Road and all roads leading off, Molynes Road and all roads leading off, Washington Boulevard and all roads leading off, Sections of Downtown Kingston, sections of Portmore, Keystone, St.Jago Heights, Patten Park, Richard Hall, Waterloo Gardens and Ensom Acres.
Regular supply will be restored as soon as possible, the NWC said.
Meanwhile, Clarendon residents will be without water between 8:00am and 6:00pm tomorrow (Thursday January 10) as the Jamaica Public Service carries out maintenance work.
The affected areas are: Kellits, Crofts Hill, Good Hope, Tait, Rhoden Hall, Guava Ground, Hickory, Comesie and Jericho.
NWC is urging its customers to store water for use during the disruption.
