Murdered 14-y-o girl was raped
KINGSTON, Jamaica- An autopsy conducted on the body of 14-year-old Shariefa Saddler has revealed that she was sexually assaulted.
The autopsy was done on Tuesday.
Shariefa, who was an eighth grade student of Haile Selassie high school in St Andrew, was found dead along Lothian Avenue, off Olympic Way in Kingston, on January 30.
It was reported that she left home for school at about 6:00am and hours later persons on Lothian Avenue saw a man driving a silver motor car placing an item wrapped in a sheet on the road.
They became suspicious and upon inspection discovered the teenager’s body.
Detectives said she was strangled with a necktie are currently investigating reports that she was dragged into the vehicle while waiting for a bus along Olympic Way.
