Reggae lectures in session
A series of lectures dubbed Reggae University kicked off last Friday at Emancipation Park in New Kingston with the showing of Reggae, a 90-minute documentary produced in 1970 by Junior Lincoln.
Organised by the Jamaica Reggae Industry Association (JaRIA) as a part of its Reggae Month activities, the sessions are aimed at exposing Jamaicans and foreigners to the history and influence of reggae.
The series ends February 23. Below is a full list of activities.
