Suspected drowning in Alligator Pond
KINGSTON, Jamaica – An unidentified man believed to be about 45-years-old, drowned in the Kaiser River in Alligator Pond, Manchester on Sunday.
The Alligator Pond Police say that about 11:35am the deceased was heard enquiring about the depth of the river. His body was subsequently found by a volunteer lifeguard who called the police. The man’s body removed to hospital where death was confirmed.
The body is of slim build, about 5-feet-6-inches long and was clad in blue-and-brown shorts.
