Four prisoners escape Spanish Town lock-up
SPANISH TOWN, St Catherine — Four prisoners escaped from the Spanish Town lockup earlier today.
Reports are that two metal bars were pried away at the top section of the holding area where the men were being housed.
Five prisoners escaped, however one was subsequently caught on the station’s compound.
The four who remain at large are:
Aston Daley, otherwise called ‘Daley Bwoy’, a 25-year-old labourer of Shelter Rock, Spanish Town, St Catherine. He was held on suspicion of murder and shooting with intent.
Damion Grey, otherwise called ‘Saint’ or ‘Butch’, a 34-year-old labourer also of Shelter Rock. He is charged with shooting with intent, assault at common law, illegal possession of firearm and ammunition.
Rohan Pryce, otherwise called ‘Zink’, a 31-year-old labourer of Ellerslie Pen, Spanish Town, St Catherine. He was charged for carnal abuse.
Byron Haughton, 27-year-old of Southborough, Portmore, St Catherine. Haughton was charged with robbery with aggravation.
