$99.01 to one US dollar

KINGSTON, Jamaica — The Jamaican dollar continues to improve against its main trading counterparts.

The US dollar today closed at an average J$99.01, two cents less than yesterday, according to the Bank of Jamaica daily summary.

The Canadian dollar closed at J$97.96, five cents lower, while the British pound went for J$153.78, a 19-cent drop.
