The 15th staging of the Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Awards is just over a week away, and much of island is abuzz with excitement.
teenCHEF got a chance to sit with the judges last Monday as they sampled some of the dishes and met some of the presenters. Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Awards scholarships and bursaries, valued at more than $1 million.
The annual festival, which recognises excellence in food creation, food service and event décor, among others, has become the benchmark for culinary arts across Jamaica.

Three of the recipients — Danielle Palmer, 21, Desiree Forbes, 20, and Jody-Ann Beckford, 22 — were awarded full scholarships, while the other two, Vanessa Anglin, 19, and Rashada Edwards, 19, received bursaries valued at $50,000.
