Soho in the city
LAST Friday night brought another fun-filled and exciting staging of Smirnoff Soho at Fiction Lounge in St Andrew.
Staged under the theme ‘All Gold Everything,’ the event attracted dozens of patrons.
DJ Cruise selected some of hip hop, soca and dancehall’s “wickedest” selections. The upscale Fiction Lounge was transformed into a ‘true’ dancehall. Although some of the female patrons dance moves weren’t always in harmony with the musical rhythm this didn’t prevent them from dancing up a storm.
While the party was in full swing inside the club, on the outside several patrons stationed themselves at the Smirnoff bar for refills of the night’s featured cocktail.
Throughout the night, members of the Smirnoff family were present to ensure the night’s proceedings went according to plan.
According to Brand Manager Kamal Powell: “Soho is an epic representation of an international lifestyle with great cocktails, fantastic vibe and beautiful people.”
This is the fifth instalment of Smirnoff Soho nights party series. The first staging Fiction, Cay took place in July where a beach vibe was brought to life with beach umbrellas, balls and surfboards.
“Soho continues to be a party to be reckoned with and the organisers always leads me to wonder what next will they bring to the entertainment table. One doesn’t have to dig deep in their pocket to party in fine style, as the party is Smirnoff drink mixes inclusive. I eagerly await the next staging,” said 29-year-old party patron Sanique Simms.
