South Central gets ready for TSO
MANDEVILLE, Manchester — Businesses in Manchester, Clarendon and St Elizabeth will be among those in 15 major towns across the island coming alive on September 19 as the Jamaica Observer Takes Style Out (TSO).
Several stores will be opening their doors later than usual, giving customers a chance to benefit from discounts.
The launch of TSO at the OMG Restaurant and Coffee Bar in Mandeville on Saturday, August 17, has helped to get south central participants in readiness mode, organisers say. Upcoming launch functions are set for The Lagoon in Montego Bay on August 28 and Sandals Royal Plantation in Ocho Rios, on August 29.
Natalie Chin-Watkins, advertising, marketing and communications manager at the Jamaica Observer said that participants will have the opportunity to capitalise on the momentum by extending their offering for the two days following TSO.
“We are encouraging advertisers to get involved. We are still doing registration,” she said.
Leading up to the event, Chin-Watkins said that the TSO participants should also try to promote their businesses through print advertising.
