Going to ‘Skool’ with LIME
THE Jamworld Entertainment Centre in Portmore, St Catherine, was abuzz with activity last weekend as LIME staged its fourth annual ‘Skool Aid’ show.
The two-day event attracted a full house with parents and children participating in various back-to-school activities, including the Storylan reading zone.
There was also an entertainment package featuring dancehall artistes QQ, Jah Bouks, Teflon, as well as winners from this year’s Festival competitions and comedians Ity and Fancy Cat.
One of the outstanding performances came from little-known twelve-year-old singer Wayne J, who stepped up and belted out the event’s theme song, LIME Skool Aid, earning sustained applause.
