Paul Brunson is in Kingston, Jamaica
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Paul C Brunson is in the island.
He was met by a welcoming party from Caribbean Fortress, Jamaica Observer and Red Stripe at the Norman Manley International Airport on Saturday.
“Of course I come out and this is the hospitality,” Brunson told Observer Online. “I have a Red Stripe in my hand within, I don’t know, 30 seconds.
“What could be better than this!” Brunson exclaimed.
The first thing that hit him on arriving in Kingston: the smell.
“This is going to sound weird, but every country has its own unique smell and when I have travelled to other countries, sometimes I am turned off,” said Brunson. “But instantly I come here (Jamaica) and it feels like home already.”
The author of It’s Complicated (But It Doesn’t Have to Be): A Modern Guide to Finding and Keeping Love, who has been described as “much more than a matchmaker” by Oprah Winfrey, is in Kingston for the final stop of his book tour and will be at The Courtleigh Auditorium from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm today.
What can you expect?
In Brunson’s own words, “The unexpected.”
