Phillips speaks on economy at PNP meeting underway in Portmore

ST CATHERINE, Jamaica – Minister of Finance Dr Peter Phillips is expected to give a report on the economy at a meeting of the People’s National Party’s (PNP) National Executive Council (NEC) now underway at the Portmore Pines in St Catherine.

Main address at the meeting is Phillips’ update on the status of the economy, PNP Deputy General Secretary Raymond Pryce confirmed Sunday morning.

“As usual we will also consider reports from the regions and constituencies on political matters,” Pryce added.

Media practitioners are invited to a press briefing after the NEC meeting at 2:00pm Sunday.
