Beyoncé’s father Mathew Knowles has allegedly missed two of his $12,000- child support payments to Alexsandra Wright — the mother of his three-year-old son Nixon. TMZ.com claims to have obtained official California State Records which state that 61-year-old Mathew now owes Alexsandra $24,000 in child support after missing the scheduled payments.

The website also alleges that Alexsandra has struggled so much without the money that she has had to pull her son out of school because she can no longer afford to pay for it.

Former Scrubs star Alexsandra gave birth to son Nixon on February 4, 2010, after an 18-month extramarital affair with Mathew. However, after a DNA test confirmed that Mathew was indeed the father, the pair have been embroiled in a bitter legal battle, with Alexsandra even claiming she received an e-mail from Mathew back in 2011 when he threateningly warned her that hurting his family has “a price to pay”.

Mathew played a pivotal role in Beyoncé’s career, after quitting his job as a medical-equipment salesman to manage the singer’s early group, Girl’s Tyme, which eventually morphed into Destiny’s Child. He has had producer credits on many of his daughter’s projects and is the founder of Music World Entertainment, a label that, through Columbia Records, has released albums by Beyoncé, sister Solange Knowles, Sunshine Anderson, and former DC members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.
