Licensed firearm holder in Half-Way-Tree shooting released
ST ANDREW, Jamaica — The police have released from custody the licensed firearm-holder linked to Monday’s fatal shooting of a man in Half Way Tree, St Andrew.
The firearm holder turned up at the Half Way Tree Police Station hours after the shooting admitting that he was responsible.
He was held in custody for questioning, the police say.
The dead man has been identified as Negus Whyte, otherwise called ‘Kimo’, of a Newark Avenue address in Kingston 11.
He was found close to Pavillion Mall sometime after 5:00 am Monday.
