Big Pop goes Cross Country
DEEJAY Big Pop is in the lineup for RJR’s Cross Country Invasion, which started in January and ends next month.
He is promoting his latest single Say Dat Dem a Goodaz which is produced by Jamlink Recording on the Ackee Leaf ‘riddim’.
The 29-year-old, whose real name is Ricardo Rankine, began performing while attending Ascot High School in Portmore where he got his moniker.

Since ‘Magnum’, he has worked with several producers including Jan Biggs, J British and Eclipse Records. Big Pop is putting finishing touches to his debut album, Belly Laughter.
In addition to Say Dat Dem a Goodaz, his current singles include Happen Again and Jamaican Gangster, also produced by Jamlink Recording.
