ERIC Michael Williams believes that he was born with a ‘gift’ to help people, and for over 30 years he has been dedicated to using that gift.

Williams, who heads the Miracle Stone Prayer Ministry, said that he is supernaturally gifted to do a number of things; one such, he said, is the gift to “read up” people.

This he not only does though face-to-face interactions but also over the telephone, as well as through handwriting evaluation.

However, the ability to tell people about their lives is not his only gift.

Williams conducts a prayer ministry both over the telephone as well as in person. He also does repeated affirmation and transcendental meditation.

He believes that he was born with this supernatural gift to help people; however, he only started using it in his teenage years.

Williams explained that he was made aware that he possessed the gift at age 12. However, it was several years later that he started the journey to tap into his natural gift.

“I met a gentleman on Christmas Day and he told me I had this gift,” Williams said.

According to him, the man demanded that he take him to his mother, whom he also told that he had the gift and that it should be nurtured.

But his mother would have none of it and so he forgot about it.

During his teenage years, he again met the man on another Christmas Day.

“This was no coincidence,” he said, revealing that he knew then that this was his destiny. As a result, Williams went to ‘study’ and developed his gift.

From age 17, Williams has been using his divine gift to “read up” people, as well as to help others to deal with the problems that they face.

He explained that his gift of being able to assist people by “telling them about their lives” and helping them to find the way forward is not witchcraft or obeah.

“It is not witchcraft. It is the work of the Almighty God,” he said.

Williams, who believes that he is a prophet of God, said that he is a strong believer in Jesus Christ and has been using his gift positively.

He however admitted that the gift that he possesses can also be directed into a negative channel, but he has directed his in the “right way”.

According to the 52-year-old man, in his over 30 years of using his gift, he

has helped people from across the world. Some, he said, travel to him, while others utilise his services over the telephone.

While he did not want to put everything out to the public, Williams, who operates the Prayer Stone Ministry in St Mary and St Andrew, revealed how his gifts work.

He said that in “reading up” a person, the Holy Ghost reveals things to him and in order to help them he asks the person “to do what the spirit says”.

While success and good fortune seem to elude many people, Williams believes that persons control their success.

In guiding people to reach their full potential, he said that he helps them to understand that the mind is a powerful tool.

“A person is what he thinks he is,” he said.

“If you keep repeating that you are poor and nothing will not happen to you, then nothing will happen to you. Whatever you repeat over and over again, you will get the tangible evidence one day, good or evil,” he stated.

In assisting people, Williams said that he starts at what is called the “higher height”.

If after nine days persons do not see results then he moves them onto the process called “Deeper Depth”.

“Some people’s problems take a longer time,” he suggested.

The Miracle Stone Prayer Ministry’s name is also significant, as according to him, there is a stone that people can search for and get miraculous results. However, that stone is only given to those chosen by God.

While using his gift to help people, Williams revealed that he is now on a quest to build a skills training centre to help young people. This is something he hopes to get done soon, even as he continues to use the gift that he was born with.
