Dancehall artiste Tifa has continued to establish herself as one of the biggest female acts in the industry by teaming up with two notable producers — Donovan Germain of Penthouse Records and Stephen ‘Di Genius’ McGregor. Her musical diversity — what has helped to make her one of the hottest female artistes — is evident in her most recent projects.

I’m Still Standing, produced by Donovan Germain for Penthouse Records, sees the artiste highlighting her vocal chops under a bed of musical instrumentation.

Tifa expressed, “Donovan Germain is an icon and a living legend. I was eager to learn from him more than anything else”. It was the first time that the artiste was working with the renowned label that has managed to establish itself with a plethora of hits from some of dancehall and reggae music’s biggest names. I’m Still Standing is featured on Penthouse Records’ Fret Board riddim.

Another collaboration which Tifa recently completed is Body Up, produced by Stephen ‘Di Genius’ McGregor. Body Up has been receiving positive feedback from fans locally and overseas, and it continues to get wide airplay. This was the first time that the artiste and the producer have worked together since the 2009 hit Tick it like a Clock.

Fans who have been waiting for new videos from Tifa should be relieved to know that clips for the chart-topping singles Bak it Up, Body Up and Out of this World are to be completed over the next few weeks.

Tifa’s current releases also include This Love (Barbwiya Music), which features Yahsha, and projects from Chimney Records and Anchor Records.
