Derrick smith flows with rio cobre
Opposition Member of Parliament and longtime racehorse owner Derrick Smith finally broke his losing streak when Rio Cobre, ridden by Dick Cardenas and trained by Wayne DaCosta, easily won an Overnight Allowance event over five furlongs round in a brisk 59.3 seconds. Smith was at the track to lead in his winner. Let’s hope he will have many more.
