ROSE HALL, St James — Three days after scoring their first win of the season, Club Stars will be going after their second when they meet neighbours Mountain Villa in the St James Football Association Dennis Barton/Weston King Division One competition.

Club Stars blanked Paradise FC 3-0 on Monday with goals from Micoi Myers in the ninth minute for the half time lead then Sheldon Clarke in the 55th minute and Mario Leslie in the 84th minute completed their victory as they moved off the bottom of the table into joint third-place with Mountain Villa on identical statistics of one win, two draws and two losses, with six goals for and six against.

Westgreen, who were beaten 2-0 by Copperwood FC on Monday, will face Zone A leaders Heights FC, who will be gunning to rebound from their first loss.

Henrico Campbell scored both goals for Copperwood on Monday, in the 17th and 29th minutes.

In another game played Monday, Salt Spring Roses extended their lead in Zone B with a 1-0 win over Mountain Villa and improved to 13 points from six matches played.

Also scheduled for today, Marl Road and Granville City will meet at the UDC field.
