LIME to debut Samsung Galaxy S5, Huawei P6 at Expo 2014
TELECOMMUNICATIONS company LIME says that patrons attending the JMA/JEA Expo 2014 will be among the first in Jamaica to experience the new Samsung Galaxy S5 and the emerging Huawei P6, which has gained huge popularity globally.
Along with the mobile devices, LIME will also be showcasing its cutting-edge WebX Teleconferencing Solution among other productivity enabling tools and solutions offered by the full-service provider.
“As the nation’s value brand, we look forward to providing key insights to local manufacturers and service providers of micro to large in size. We will also showcase the numerous technology solutions that we can offer as they strategise to derive maximum benefit from the proposed global logistics hub,” explained Kim Lee, LIME’s head of channel marketing, sponsorships and promotions.
“LIME has developed a reputation for bringing the world’s most modern and sophisticated technology to Jamaicans first. Expo Jamaica gives us a unique opportunity to present the next big trends in technology to both patrons and booth-holders while bolstering our position as the telecommunications provider of choice,” Lee added, noting that patrons will be able to find out how they can pre-order the Galaxy S5 at the expo.
Regarding its participation in the biennial event, Lee said “LIME is very pleased to continue its support for Expo 2014 and we acknowledge the event’s importance to the people of Jamaica. The Expo’s sub-theme also coincides with our mission to help make Jamaica the logistics hub of choice.”
LIME recently signed on as a major sponsor of the four-day event with a contribution of $3.5 million.
According to Lee, LIME’s support and presence at the expo signifies the company’s ongoing commitment to use information and communication technology (ICT) to provide opportunities for business owners to increase efficiency by providing modern and affordable communications solutions.
One such solution will be available to patrons when they enter the National Arena as they will be able to connect their smartphones or tablets to a Wi-Fi hotspot powered by Meraki, a LIME partner.
“Ongoing demonstrations and ICT consultations for patrons in addition to discounts on high-end devices will also be available from LIME,” Lee said.
Expo Jamaica 2014 will open tomorrow at the National Arena under the theme ‘Brand Jamaica to the World’. The event is a partnership between the Jamaica Manufacturers’ Association and the Jamaica Exporters’ Association.
