JCB has upper hand against touring Kiwis
TRELAWNY, Jamaica — The Jamaica Cricket Board (JCB) select team got off to a good start in their two day game against the touring New Zealand at the Trelawny Multipurpose stadium at Florence Hall Thursday morning.
New Zealand won the toss and took first strike losing openers Peter Fulton who went without scoring and the experienced Hamish Rutherford who made 13.
At the first break, taken after rain interrupted play, New Zealand were 33 for two with Christopher Powell and Brian Buchanan the wicket takers.
The New Zealand team is – Peter Fulton, Tom Latham, Hamish Rutherford, Luke Ronchi, BJ Watling, Jimmy Neesham, Mark Craig, Ish Sodhi, Neil Wagner, Trent Boult and Myron Wilson.
