THE 2012 winner Donovan ‘Police’ Campbell and 2011 losing semi-finalist Sakima Mullings will face each for the right to meet Tsetsi Davis in the final of the 2014 Wray & Nephew Contender boxing series in downtown Kingston tonight.

The match is set to go eight rounds at the new Wray & Nephew Coliseum situated at the Transport Centre on Water Lane in downtown Kingston.

The winner of tonight’s fight will fight ‘Lights Out’ Davis, who booked his second consecutive final berths by out pointing Guyanese Howard ‘Battersea Bomber’ Eastman over eight rounds at the same venue last Wednesday night, to set up the showdown with tonight’s winner.

Davis was last year’s beaten finalist in the middleweight category title fight by Devon Moncriffe.

Both Mullings and Campbell will enter tonight’s enthralling contest confident of victory.

Campbell, who already knows how to win at this level, having won the second staging, is confident that he has the ammunition to get the job done, and predicted: “This is going to be a great fight between two very experienced and skilled boxers. I’m going to put all my blood, sweat and tears into this one, and at the end of the night, I will be victorious.”

However, Mullings, who lost at this stage at the first staging of the Wray & Nephew Contender boxing series to Ricardo Smith, who went on to beat Devon Moncriffe in the final, countered, saying, “‘Police’ (Donovan Campbell) has all the qualities of a great opponent, but there can be only one winner and that’s me”.
