Bottoms Up!
FANS of German beer and food crowded the Alhambra Inn on Tucker Avenue last Saturday to celebrate The Rock’s 32nd instalment of the annual German festivity, Oktoberfest.
Hosted by the Jamaican-German Society, which hit its 60-year mark this year, Oktoberfest offered patrons a variety of specialty German foods, nine different types of German beer, wines and Schnapps. Patrons enjoyed unlimited beer while partaking in various activities and surprises including a yodeling competition.
