In July Laurie-Ann Chin won the prestigious title of Miss Jamaica World 2014, and a beautiful crown to go along with it, but now the crown has been snatched away from the beauty. It is reported that about three weeks ago the crown was stolen in Montego Bay. While at a fashion event in the second city, it is reported that thieves broke into Chin’s Audi A3 Sedan and stole the crown. So far the matter is reportedly still under investigation and there has been no suspects.

Gage copying Kartel’s image?

Dancehall artiste Gage is being accused of copying the image of incarcerated dancehall artiste Vybz Kartel. Gage reportedly has cut his hair, bleached his skin, and has multiple tattoos — giving him a close resemblance to Kartel. However, Gage has responded saying while he admires Kartel’s style he is not trying to copy him, but rather felt it was time to change up his look a little. He went on to say in other aspects, he is influenced by Kartel and so are many artistes and he doesn’t see anything being wrong with that.

Kelly Rowland gives birth

Former Destiny’s Child member and award-winning singer, Kelly Rowland, has given birth to her first child. On November 4, 2014, the singer welcomed her son, Titan Jewell Witherspoon, into the world. So far, Kelly and her husband, Tim Witherspoon, seem to be basking in the joys of their newborn with Kelly even writing a song about him titled Mommy’s Little Baby. The first picture of baby Titan was posted to Instagram by Kelly’s long-time friend Beyoncé, who posted a picture of a little baby’s hand holding on to two adult hands along with a message congratulating Kelly on the birth of her baby.
