Three killed in St James Christmas Day
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The St James police are currently probing circumstances surrounding the killing of three people in the parish on Christmas Day.
Reports reaching OBSERVER ONLINE are that about 7:00pm a man was shot dead by unknown assailants in Corner district, Barrett Town.
About 8:00pm another man was shot dead while at a bar in Bickersteth district, Cambridge. The gunmen allegedly entered the bar and fired shots directly at the victim before making their escape.
The third murder, which also occurred about 8:00pm, is believed to be from a domestic dispute in which a woman fatally stabbed her boyfriend. At the time of this report, the whereabouts of the accused woman was unknown.
Meanwhile, as Christmas Day celebrations were winding down, a woman was attacked while entering her home sometime after 1:30 am Boxing Day. She was shot and injured by unknown assailants.
