Salt Marsh United meet Prospect Links in TFA K/O finals

FALMOUTH, Trelawny

SALT Marsh United will go after the only title they failed to win last year when they take on Prospect Links in the finals of the Trelawny Football Association’s Patrick Atkinson KnockOut at the Elleston Wakeland playfield in Falmouth on Saturday.

The match-up, scheduled to start at 3:00pm, was confirmed after last week’s semi-finals at the same venue where Salt Marsh United edged Jackson Town 1-0 on Thursday, and Prospect Links outscored Baca Star United 3-2 on Saturday.

Last season, Salt Marsh United won the Major League and mid-season titles, but were beaten in the KnockOut finals by Holland United.

On paper, Salt Marsh United who are competing in the Western Confederation Super League, will start favourites to beat Prospect Links and win the first title of the Trelawny season.

The winner will also earn the right to represent Trelawny in the Flow Champions Cup KnockOut next season.
