THE Stationery Centre and the Vein Centre are now $25 million richer in equity after being crowned winners of National Commercial Bank’s Capital Quest.

For more than 26 years the Stationery Centre has been supplying stationery and office products to companies, schools and various organisations throughout the island. This established family business is a well-known wholesaler in the industry and has grown substantially through the years since its inception in 1988.

The Stationery Centre imports and distributes the widest selection of stationery products on the market, including office and school supplies, technology products and solutions, business machines and related items. In addition to selling many local and overseas brand names, the company also produces its own brand – ‘Robin’ – named after the founder’s son.

The Stationery Centre currently serves over 1,000 customers islandwide and is dedicated to creating superior value through innovation, cost-effectiveness, commitment to quality, efficiency and superior customer service.

Vein Centres of Jamaica, which also copped the NCB Capital Quest award, is a boutique medical practice that focuses on the treatment of varicose veins, spider veins and other cosmetic and debilitating vein conditions.

Vein Centres of Jamaica was launched July 2012 by Dr Hilary Brown Nixon and Dr Bart Muhs, both Yale-trained, American board-certified vascular surgeons with extensive experience in treating varicose veins and spider veins. The medical team enlisted the marketing and business expertise of Dr Brown Nixon’s husband, Javette Nixon, CEO of Point Global Marketing Limited, an integrated marketing firm.
